Singer Maurice RaadSince his early age Maurice was attached to art in general, but his love to music was the strongest and has grown up with him since his childhood. Maurice's singing talent was nourished by listening to the music of famous Arabic singers such as Wadih El-Safi, Sabah Fakhri and Mohamad Abd El Wahab which helped him establish strong artistic roots that were reflected in his singing performances abilities and his diverse singing styles. He enriched his talent by studying music, voice techniques and he learned how to play Lute.

In 1981, Maurice migrated to the United States of America. Although his talent as a singer started in Lebanon while he was still a student at school, Maurice's fame flourished in Los Angeles, California. Well Known for his powerful voice, Maurice managed to establish his reputation as a singer performing in Arabic and with a fan base throughout the Arabic speaking world with a special widespread popularity within the Arabic community in the USA and extending into Canada and South America.

He performed in concerts tirelessly since 1988 and he released his first album 'Balad El Habayeb' in 1998. Following the first album success, Maurice released his hit duet 'Yalla Amigos', sung with Spanish star 'Mar Castro'. 'Yalla Amigos' video clip was a massive hit, and still being played on TV today, more than three years after its initial release. Currently he is looking forward for the release of his next album in the near future.

Besides being a singer, Maurice is also a song writer and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the California State University in Los Angeles.
